Easton, Northampton Co. PA.
Planted Sept. 3rd 2001
Directions: Start point at the junction of Rt. 212 and Rt. 611
Type: Easy, once you get there. This is a 10 mile one way bike ride. If you
want you can just start further up river.
Terrain: Flat
"Shad Ladder"
Locate the "Guard and Weigh"
Pass over the 3 water courses
With two bridges on your left
and three to your right
Choose the less attractive one
On the path, pass 4 eye bolts
Under the "double" to the end
of stone, marked by " E.O.D."
I wonder who?
Make a sharp left here
Then one more,
Stop after 2 paces
Raise your gaze
What do you think of that
support structure!!
Can you see through
the trees?
Turn your head and look
along the line
of your shoulder
Raise your gaze again
and Salute!
This is where you "MUST
TAKE CARE!!!"
On the rock shelf
is the tresure
This requires a "reach
and removal"
of the Guard Stones
Beware! Beware!
Do not let the hard things
fall in your face!!!!!
Please re-hide well.
This is a much visited
location.
The way home is a
no brainer.
Check out the "Shad Ladder"
while you are here
at the convergence
of the Lehigh and Delaware.
This is an interesting place.
Enjoy Life!
See Joy and Lockmaster

Planted Sept. 3rd 2001
Directions:Somewhere between Lock 21 and Lock 23-24
Type: Easy
Terrain: Flat
"Gold Fish"

It's "new" vs "old"
Our tax money at work
The walls here are awesome!
Up river, still in view
of the Lock
Come upon the remains
to the right, in the trees
Shame to see the garbage
in the celler...
So, just look from the path
and imagine...
Now, back track to the point
where you just got a peek
of "old" stone, and rooms gone
Two trees make a "V'
for now.....
